Where do you come up with those amazing pics you post?
I'm sure everyone who spends any time at all on the net has surely seen (over 20 million have) this U-Tube video, but if not check it out...httIp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=adYbFQFXG0U&feature=r. I've watched it 6 or 7 times and I still have to reach for the Kleenex.
Cynical as I am about the short term I still remain a long term optimist. Peace will prevail. Remember the Harmonic Convergence? In August of 1987 my late wife and I sat in lawn chair recliners on our pool deck facing east, held hands, and meditated with the rest of the world about global peace and Unity. Shortly thereafter there was the breakup of the Soviet Union, the reunification of East/West Germany, and the end of apartheid in South Africa. No one in our societies ruling intelligentsia including press, academia, or government had a clue that such mind boggling drastic change could happen so suddenly. So, I still hold out hope that peace loving elevated consciousness from enough of us can still save the day.

Aaron, I watched a documentary that was similar...about the electric car, and How the country of Brazil is totally independent of oil by using sugar cane for most of their fuel. The gas stations provide both types of fuel, but of course, the sugar cane is less expensive. About 85% of the autos in Brazil are using sugar cane fuel. and, it doesn't polute....now? Why are we not growing sugar cane??? Of course, we know why!

Hi Yvonne,
No I haven't been around in a while. Thanks for the cool pics. This may be a little off the subject of peace, but I just watched this absolutely fascinating DVD documentary over the weekend called "Who Killed the Electric Car." I had never heard of the EV1 and it's premiere in California a few years back. Outrageous what GM, the government, and big oil did to the fast sporty little energy efficient car, that everyone who was fortunate to get a lease on, totally fell in love with. It's one of those films that you feel like you want to run out and buy a dozen copies of and give to all your friends and keep it passing around. Anyway, certainly the potential for peace would be much more of a reality if we were not so dependent on foreign oil and all of this shameful posturing about our presence in Iraq being about terrorism.
Be well, be safe, be at peace.

Hello Yvonne,
You are my friend! I love the Bay area although I don't get to the West Coast as often as I used to. My oldest son used to live in Berkeley. My youngest son has lived in L.A. for nearly 30 years. Love those Pacific Rim vibes. It is an entirely different mind set from the energy you find here in Southern Indiana. I'm currently very focused on honing a more positive and joyful attitude. I like to remember that you add just as much suffering to the sum total of misery in the world when you take offense as when you give offense. Peace.
Hello, Aaron, I also hail from the 60's in Berkeley. I guess I would call myself more of a 'Hippie", although more in actions than in appearance. Would enjoy having you as a friend here as we all work toward our common goal. "Let there be Peace On Earth, and Let it Begin With Me!". Yvonne

I appreciate your feedback. We have not erased any messages or members comments. I am not sure why you experienced that.
I like your suggestion, and if we do decide to erase anyone message we will inform the community why that was so.
Peace and Light,
Tyler Hoff
